Marc Thibodeau, CRIA, M. Sc.

Senior HR Consultant, Team Leader, Labour Relations, Organizational Diagnostic & Optimization

Marc holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations and is a member of l’Ordre des Conseillers en Ressources Humaines Agréés (CRHA) of the province of Québec. He has more than thirty years of experience in human resources.

He has a wide variety of experience and expertise in the areas of labour relations, compensation, health and safety, and collective agreement negotiation.

He was the spokesperson and manager at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat for the renewal of numerous collective agreements in various bargaining units. During his career, he also held various senior management positions in the federal public service, including that of DG Labour Relations and Compensation at the Canada Border Services Agency for a period of 8 years. During this period, Marc had a positive impact on the climate of labour relations, the resolution of grievance files, human rights and occupational health and safety. Marc has also led several transformation and optimization projects for this Agency.

Since 2019, Marc has been a Senior Consultant and Team Leader for the Labour Relations, Organizational Diagnostic and Optimization division at Samson HR. His leadership has been demonstrated throughout his career, as he led organizational development, coaching, and mentoring programs.
