It is on this premise that Samson HR Inc. was born.

Sylvie Samson founded Samson HR to facilitate access to quality Human Resources services and enable employers and managers to obtain precise answers to an array of questions with a single phone call. Whether it’s concerning issues related to employee management, salaries, internal structures, training, coaching, conflict management, collective agreement negotiation, etc., there is no secret for them.
Sylvie believes a healthy business equals happy employees. For this reason, policies and procedures should be clear and fair, and employers should strive to demonstrate good management practices.
Sylvie left the Public Service in 2006 to join the accounting firm Samson & Associates, where she created the HR division. The Division gradually developed and became an independent Firm in 2019, Samson HR – Consulting Services.
After working in HR in the private sector and in the Public Service, Sylvie acts as a consultant for several government and private clients, touching all the specialties of her profession. In her 20+ year career as a generalist consultant, Sylvie has helped many SMEs, NPOs, federal departments and agencies reach their HR goals. Beyond her university studies in human resources and industrial relations, Sylvie is a member of l’Ordre des Conseillers en Ressources Humaines Agréés (CRHA) of the province of Québec.

A unifying and visionary, Sylvie knows that in order to be successful, you must surround yourself with the right people. When she created Samson HR, Sylvie invited retired HR professionals to participate on different projects with her. In 2009, her team consisted of five consultants. Today, Samson HR has six divisions and brings together more than 40 consultants from all spheres of human resources management.
A recent reorganization has allowed the many consultants of the six divisions to work in close collaboration with project coordinators. Committed to following best practices, Samson HR not only promotes a culture of collaboration among its clients, but also applies it first and foremost within its teams.
Samson HR is distinguished by the experience of its consultants and the commitment of its internal team. Coming from different backgrounds and having a variety of skills, our employees perform different tasks in the project management, accounting and marketing departments, while applying the company’s values.
